Bower started from a simple frustration: too many dispensary websites send shoppers somewhere else the moment they are ready to browse, reorder, or reserve for pickup.
The handoff problem
A lot of dispensary websites are a homepage, store hours, a location page, and a "Shop Now" button that hands the customer to a third-party menu or marketplace. That handoff can weaken your control over the customer relationship, repeat shopping, product discovery, analytics, and the mobile buying experience.
What we're building
Bower turns a dispensary website into a real online storefront: live menu and product pages, customer accounts, purchase history, StrainIQ product discovery, pickup orders or reservations, supported two-way POS sync, and shopper analytics. It runs on the retailer's own domain for a predictable monthly fee plus setup, with no marketplace commission.
Veteran-owned, and accountable to you
Bower is a veteran-owned and operated company. The standard that comes with that - show up, do what you said you'd do, and take care of the people counting on you - is the one we hold ourselves to with every dispensary we work with. We're a small team building deliberately: launching first in a handful of states (WA, IL, MO, MI, and NJ), getting it right, then expanding. We won't promise a timeline we can't keep, for the initial rollout or the states that follow.

Chris is a 12-year U.S. Army veteran, former aviation professional, computer science student at the University of Washington, and founder of Bower. His background in high-stakes aviation shaped his focus on precision, reliability, and disciplined execution, values he brings to building better software for cannabis retailers.
