FAQ
Questions, answered honestly
Bower is built to make your dispensary website the place customers actually shop. Here is the straight version on scope, integrations, pricing, and boundaries.
What Bower is
No. Bower powers the storefront on your dispensary's own website. Shoppers browse your live menu, create accounts, get product recommendations, view purchase history, and reserve or order for pickup through your branded experience.
Embedded menus can make a dispensary website feel like a wrapper around another shopping experience. Bower gives retailers owned menu and product pages, customer accounts, product discovery, pickup ordering or reservations, supported POS sync, and analytics on their own domain.
No. Bower connects with supported POS/menu integrations to keep menu data updated and send pickup orders or reservations back through supported workflows. Your POS remains the source of truth for inventory, transactions, and store operations.
Not at launch. Bower focuses on storefront browsing, customer accounts, product discovery, pickup orders or reservations, analytics, and supported POS sync. It is not a cannabis payments processor.
Shopping features
Yes. Customers can create accounts, view purchase history, reorder favorites, and get a more personalized shopping experience on your dispensary website.
StrainIQ is Bower's guided product discovery feature. Shoppers choose the kind of experience they want, such as relaxed, happy, focused, creative, energetic, sleepy, or balanced, and Bower recommends relevant products from your live menu.
Yes. Bower supports pickup orders or reservations through supported launch POS integrations, subject to retailer market, configuration, and compliance requirements.
Bower is built to show how shoppers interact with the storefront: product views, category views, searches, recommendation activity, pickup reservations or orders, and repeat behavior.
Pricing, setup, and rollout
Pricing starts at $349/month for the first location, with volume discounts for additional locations, plus a $750 one-time setup fee per location. Bower does not take a marketplace commission or percentage-of-sales fee.
POSaBIT, Dutchie, and Flowhub are planned launch integrations, with more to follow. Supported workflows keep menu data aligned and send pickup orders or reservations back into supported POS systems.
No. Bower is not an SEO agency. Bower creates fast, structured product and menu pages on your own domain that can support organic discovery, but Bower does not guarantee search rankings.
We are launching with select retailers in WA, IL, MO, MI, and NJ first. Apply for early access if you are ready to evaluate Bower; join the update list if you just want launch news.
